FLESH MECHANIC I'm always happy to see a synthwave project originate in my homeland, since the scene doesn't seem so active out here. Instance's Carbonite is mostly upbeat, with production that is juuuuust enough dirty to make it seem like this album came through a wormhole from the late 80's. And if you thought this album couldn't get better, there's a cover version of Type O Negative's Christian Woman on it. Favorite track: Phase Nexus.
